Interior Designer

The Interior Designer role is onsite in Silverdale, WA. Compensation is not specified. The position supports Design Technical Support services for NAVFAC Northwest’s Planning Design and Construction Directorate, Design Division, serving projects in the Puget Sound area. The designer develops facilities interior-design materials and provides technical coordination and review for design and construction projects. The work helps the NAVFAC team assess project requirements, coordinate stakeholders, review deliverables, and support timely project execution.

What you'll do

• Prepare room finish schedules, finish plans, finish boards, furniture plans, and best-value determinations
• coordinate collateral equipment
• perform interior design work using Revit
• coordinate project scope, schedules, budgets, and reporting
• research applicable codes and guidance
• coordinate meetings and workflow
• review technical reports, designs, submittals, and cost proposals
• support commissioning reviews, field inspections, and construction activities
• prepare project reports and briefings.
