Security Guard – Full-Time Access Control

Job overview

The Security Guard – Full-Time Access Control role is onsite in Kennett Square, PA, and pays $20 per hour. The schedule includes overnight shifts Monday and Tuesday, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., and afternoon/evening shifts Friday through Sunday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. The role supports security at a utility generation location. The guard helps protect the site by controlling access, verifying credentials, maintaining logs, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. The position combines visible security presence with customer service for employees, contractors, and visitors.

What you'll do

• Carry out site-specific access control and emergency response procedures
• monitor access points and verify credentials and visitor documentation
• maintain access logs and issue or recover badges
• communicate access concerns
• respond to incidents and alarms
• and conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter.
