What you'll do

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, and household chores
• prepare meals
• perform assigned activities taught by a nurse, which may include assisting with ostomy appliances, non-sterile dressing reinforcement, mobility devices, range-of-motion exercises, simple urine tests, special diets, intake and output, vital signs, external catheters, and slings or splints
• communicate with clients and respond to their needs.

Why this role

Requires a high school degree or GED, six months of CNA experience, completion of a state-approved CNA course, and successful completion of the applicable competency evaluation. Current CPR certification is recommended. A valid driver’s license and insured automobile or adequate transportation are required.
