What you'll do

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment such as compactors, dozers, loaders, excavators, and haul trucks.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential failures.
• Complete preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate service records.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field and perform on-site repairs.
• Operate equipment as needed to test functionality after repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors to identify equipment issues early.
• Maintain shop tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe conditions.
• Assist with ordering parts, tracking inventory, and managing repair documentation.
