What you'll do

• Under direct RN supervision, perform the surgical scrub role
• review preference lists and select supplies and instruments
• prepare the sterile back table
• anticipate the surgeon’s needs and pass instruments and supplies during procedures
• take instruments and equipment to decontamination and put away remaining supplies and equipment. Required: accredited surgical technician training, National Certified Surgical Technologist certification, BLS from the American Heart Association, and three years of operating-room experience.
