What you'll do

• Dispatch and monitor intermodal drivers
• coordinate freight between rail terminals, ports, warehouses, and customer locations
• communicate load assignments, route changes, delays, and updates
• track container status, appointments, chassis availability, and equipment use
• monitor hours-of-service and safety requirements
• resolve service issues
• maintain dispatch records and update TMS
• communicate shipment status to customers
• coordinate with railroads, steamship lines, brokers, and terminal personnel
• optimize routes
• follow company, DOT, and customer requirements.
