Pre-Press & Large Format Machine Operator is an onsite, full-time position in Ronkonkoma, NY. Pay is $28–$35 per hour. The role supports Redmax Events’ print production for sporting events, trade shows, festivals, and brand experiences. The operator prepares supplied artwork for production, runs print and finishing equipment, and checks output quality so custom event work is ready on schedule. The position also helps coordinate production handoffs and improve the print department’s processes and repeatable procedures.

What you'll do

• Operate large-format print and finishing equipment
• prepare print-ready files with layouts, registration marks, cut lines, bleeds, scale, specifications, templates, and installation guides
• review files for accuracy, resolution, color, and material fit
• coordinate with design, production, and fabrication
• monitor quality and machine performance
• perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting
• contribute to print department processes and SOPs.

Why this role

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; occasional weekend/evening overtime and event installs. Colex Sharpcut CNC experience is required.
