The HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic / Fabricator role is onsite in Columbia, SC, with pay of $18 per hour. W.B. Guimarin is seeking a mechanic to join its growing team. The mechanic fabricates and assembles ductwork and related HVAC components for commercial construction projects. The work supports mechanical-system installation through accurate fabrication, blueprint interpretation, and safe, quality-focused job-site practices.

What you'll do

• Fabricate and assemble HVAC ductwork, fittings, hangers, and related systems
• read blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents
• measure, cut, form, and assemble sheet metal using tools and fabrication equipment
• coordinate with foremen, technicians, plumbers, and other trades
• maintain a clean and safe job site.
