What you'll do

• Obtain and document vital signs, histories, medications, and allergies
• prepare patients and assist providers with routine procedures
• perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection
• collect, label, process, and prepare specimens
• perform point-of-care testing and other directed laboratory procedures
• follow specimen handling and safety standards
• administer medications and injections within training and applicable regulations
• perform EKGs as required
• assist with wound care and routine treatments
• maintain clean, stocked clinical areas
• document in the electronic health record
• provide front-office support as needed
• float to other clinics and outpatient settings as needed.
