What you'll do

• Manage and monitor front-office employees
• conduct training and development and assist with performance reviews and disciplinary action
• screen and interview guest-services applicants
• act as manager on duty and address complaints and other issues
• develop departmental operational and financial plans and participate in the annual hotel budget
• manage reservations and room occupancy
• greet guests and ensure special requests are carried out
• track room upselling
• coordinate with housekeeping and hotel management
• maintain credit-control, transaction, cash-security, guest-security, and emergency procedures
• hold monthly department meetings.
