Group Facilitator – Youth Mental Health

Job overview

The Group Facilitator – Youth Mental Health role is onsite in Minnetonka, MN, with compensation of $30–$32 per hour. The position is with Mission Prep Healthcare, part of the AMFM Healthcare family, and supports adolescents ages 12–17 in a home-like setting focused on mental health and family support. The facilitator leads structured, specialty-based group sessions that support clients’ treatment goals. The role helps create safe, engaging group experiences and coordinates with clinical leadership and other departments to support program operations.

What you'll do

• Facilitate scheduled groups in the facilitator’s specialty
• develop evidence-based topics, objectives, curricula, and materials
• prepare rooms and materials
• guide discussions and activities
• provide interventions within professional scope
• maintain electronic health records and timely treatment notes
• assess client safety
• follow clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards
• collaborate with clinical leadership and departments
• attend meetings and training.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED and an acceptable specialty credential or certification, prior group facilitation experience with mental health or addiction concerns, current CPR/First Aid certification, and tuberculosis clearance. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
