What you'll do

• Review student medical information and maintain complete health records
• oversee medication administration procedures and records
• maintain information for students with significant medical needs
• develop individualized health care plans as appropriate
• conduct required health screenings
• provide nursing care and assessment when onsite
• train and support staff on medication administration and student health needs
• collaborate with families, school personnel, physicians, and providers
• maintain the Health Care Manual and support compliance with Massachusetts requirements
• be available by phone during school hours for urgent medical consultation.
