Construction Cost Estimator

The Construction Cost Estimator role is onsite in Jacksonville, FL; compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Review plans and specifications and confirm project scope
• identify risks and mitigation options
• solicit and organize subcontractor and supplier pricing
• prepare bid instructions and forms
• perform or manage quantity takeoffs and pricing
• develop conceptual budgets
• review schedules, scopes, site logistics, and exhibits
• maintain bid documentation and schedule
• review specialty contractor bids
• coordinate insurance and bonding requirements
• align proposals with business development and marketing
• collaborate on constructability reviews
• track cost trends
• analyze alternatives and value engineering
• support project handoffs and price change impacts.

Why this role
