Procedural Nurse

The Procedural Nurse role is onsite in Hyannis, MA, three days per week. Compensation is not specified. The Vascular Care Group is an outpatient practice providing care for vascular patients through office-based labs and partnerships with local hospitals and networks. Working under the attending surgeon and in collaboration with clinical leadership, the nurse supports endovascular procedures and patient care from preparation through discharge. The role also helps maintain center operations, safety, infection control, records, and quality assurance.

What you'll do

• Uphold AAAASF standards
• support daily outpatient endovascular center operations
• review scheduled cases
• maintain infection control and stock medications, supplies, and equipment
• oversee patient experience from pre-procedure through discharge
• monitor and administer sedation
• observe vital signs
• maintain patient and narcotic logs and complete medical records
• provide post-procedure callbacks within 24 hours
• assist with quality assurance, equipment checks, and clinic duties as needed.

Why this role

Part-time role, three days per week. Requires a BSN, Massachusetts nurse registration, BLS and ACLS certification, ICU or ED experience, and prior sedation experience. PACU experience is helpful.
