What you'll do

• Assist with implementing person-centered and individual service plans and record progress
• attend to daily needs including medication administration, personal hygiene, and meal preparation
• maintain a safe, home-like environment and perform light housekeeping and laundry
• support community connections and chosen leisure activities
• provide transportation to community activities, work, volunteer or program options, and appointments
• implement behavior support plans
• report unusual incidents and complete required reports
• provide first aid or necessary emergency medical interventions.

Why this role

A high school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license are required; one year of experience with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred. Overtime at assigned or other Arc homes may be required with reasonable notice.
