The Senior Lead Electrical Engineer is an onsite role based in Ripon, WI. This role exists to lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers in the development of electrical and electro-mechanical components. The Senior Lead Electrical Engineer ensures project success by aligning design activities with timelines, promoting best practices, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to meet market requirements.

What you'll do

• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of their engineering team.
• Provides coaching and development opportunities for their team through regular interactions.
• Develops the design scope and timeline for their discipline within engineering projects.
• Responsible for meeting project requirements and timelines.
• Research, create, and update engineering design standards to promote best practices.
• Supports the design of electrical components and sub-systems for power/low voltage products including component selection, wire harness creation, assembly design and installation.
• Performs complex design calculations to ensure design compliance with project requirements or reviews others work for correctness.
• Studies and understands related government and industry standards that govern the products being developed.
• Produce relevant documentation needed to meet project goals, electrical schematics, electrical component prints, electrical assemblies, and compliance documents.
• Interacts with the Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering staff on a regular basis.
