The Electric Service Estimator role is onsite in Harmans, MD. Compensation is not specified. Lighting Maintenance Inc. prepares estimates and proposals for commercial, industrial, municipal, and government electrical and lighting service work. The estimator evaluates service requests and field conditions to develop accurate, competitive estimates. The role supports project execution and profitability by coordinating with technicians and service management, documenting scope and pricing, and improving estimates based on completed work.

What you'll do

• Prepare estimates for electrical and lighting service, repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and small projects
• review customer requests, technician notes, photos, drawings, specifications, and scopes
• develop labor, material, equipment, rental, and subcontractor costs
• obtain vendor pricing
• prepare proposals
• clarify field conditions with technicians and service management
• participate in site visits when needed
• identify scope gaps and risks
• maintain estimate documentation
• support project handoff
• review completed work to improve estimating accuracy.

Why this role

Requires 5+ years of electrical, lighting, service, estimating, or related construction experience. Journeyman or Master Electrician experience is preferred but not required.
