Utility Locator (Field Technician)

The Utility Locator (Field Technician) position is onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Compensation starts at $22.50 per hour. Stake Center Locating trains technicians to locate underground utilities and mark them to help prevent damage in the community.

What you'll do

• Use a laptop to receive, document, and process tickets and email
• read maps and interpret blueprints to plan locating work
• use provided equipment and technology to locate underground utilities accurately
• mark locations with paint and flags
• communicate with peers, managers, and homeowners
• respond to emergency calls during scheduled on-call rotations.
