The CDL Driver - Local is an onsite role based in Knoxville, TN. The pay rate is $23.00 - $23.50 per hour. This position supports the delivery and pickup operations at PODS. This role exists to ensure the effective and incident-free delivery and pickup of containers at customer locations while maintaining excellent rapport with customers.

What you'll do

• Drive and operate a commercial truck with a lift mechanism to load and unload containers.
• Perform and log daily pre and post trip inspections.
• Accept add-on deliveries.
• Use handheld computer for navigation.
• Operate a forklift or overhead crane.
• Clean and inspect containers.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payment.
• Communicate with management regarding customer issues.
• Perform minor repairs on containers and lifts.
