Project Accountant — Hybrid

The Project Accountant role is based in Houston, TX, with a hybrid schedule; most employees work from home three days per week. The annual salary range is $70,000–$75,000. It manages billing and project financial records, monitors budgets and receivables, and collaborates with project and finance teams to support reliable reporting and compliant project operations.

What you'll do

• Prepare and review client invoices and supporting documentation
• resolve billing discrepancies
• support project budgeting and financial reporting
• monitor costs and identify budget variances and risks
• maintain project information and financial records
• monitor outstanding invoices and assist with collections
• coordinate with project managers, operations, and finance
• attend project meetings and provide reports
• ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• recommend workflow improvements and provide backup accounting support.
