The MRI Technologist Traveler role is an onsite position based in Longmont, CO. Compensation is not specified beyond a base rate of $60.00 per hour plus a travel package, supporting the UCHealth Resource Office in its mission to improve lives through diagnostic excellence. This role exists to perform ultrasound and imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The technologist reviews patient history, educates patients, prepares equipment, administers contrast media, and ensures high-quality imaging results in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Reviews patient history, physician's orders and does scheduling.
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications.
• Monitors patient condition.
• Prepares equipment and supplies.
• Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).
