Counselor I – Preschool Program

What you'll do

• Supervise children during activities, meals, and transitions
• implement safety and emergency procedures
• assist with preparing and delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities
• engage children in play and provide individualized support
• reinforce positive behavior and social skills
• communicate with children, parents or guardians, staff, and YMCA leadership
• participate in training, staff meetings, and professional development.
