The position supports production operations at a manufacturing facility through material receiving and inspection. The technician verifies incoming steel plate and its documentation, maintains traceability, and safely stages materials so production can rely on inspected, properly identified stock.

What you'll do

• Measure steel plate against blueprint specifications
• review material test reports for grade, heat numbers, and certifications
• maintain traceability and inspection records
• perform basic dye penetrant inspections and quality checks
• operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely
• move and stage materials
• and follow safety and quality procedures.
