The Skilled Caregiver role is an onsite, part-time position serving clients in the Summerville, SC area and nearby counties. Compensation is $14–$16 per hour. Visiting Angels provides non-medical senior home care intended to help seniors remain safely independent at home with dignity. The caregiver provides one-on-one support according to each client’s plan of care, helping with mobility, personal care, meals, medication reminders, transportation, light housekeeping, and companionship. The posting describes weekday daytime needs as well as other possible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights, depending on client needs.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with ambulation, mobility, personal care, and hygiene
• provide medication reminders
• prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions
• transport clients to shops, pharmacies, or appointments
• perform light housekeeping
• provide companionship
• follow care plans and report changes in client status to staff.
