Salesforce Platform Administrator

Job overview

The Salesforce Platform Administrator works onsite in Seattle, WA or Hauppauge, NY, with occasional travel of up to 10% to company sites and industry conferences. Compensation is $80,000–$120,000 per year. Jet Parts Engineering designs and manufactures aerospace aftermarket parts and repairs, and this role joins its Business Intelligence team. The administrator owns the multi-company Salesforce environment as operating companies move onto a shared platform. The role supports users, maintains data quality and platform stability, and configures and improves workflows for accounting and operations while supporting ERP migrations and audit requirements.

What you'll do

• Provide Salesforce administration, user support, and troubleshooting
• manage users, permissions, roles, and licenses
• maintain declarative configuration including Lightning pages, fields, validation rules, and Flow
• gather requirements and configure workflows
• manage data quality, bulk loads, and cleanup
• test and deploy releases through sandboxes
• support ERP migrations, reporting, vendor coordination, SOX and audit requirements, and user adoption.

Why this role

Requires 3+ years administering Salesforce or a comparable business system, including at least 2 years of hands-on Salesforce administration. Salesforce Platform Administrator certification is preferred or must be obtained within six months of hire if not already certified.
