What you'll do

• Appeal denied and deficient claims
• contact and follow up with insurance carriers regarding denials
• file reconsideration requests, formal appeals, and negotiations
• obtain outstanding claim status
• follow up on assigned accounts-receivable balances
• process accurate rebills
• interact with internal and external customers to resolve problems and expedite payments
• report problem payors and suggest solutions to management
• participate in educational activities and report information to the Collections Manager.

Why this role
