Machine Operator — Copper Tubing

The Machine Operator role is fully onsite in Pine Hall, NC. Starting pay is $18–$20 per hour, and the posting describes 12-hour night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule. Wieland manufactures, processes, and distributes copper and copper-alloy products. The operator runs and maintains industrial equipment used to produce commercial copper tubing and coils. The role supports production quality and safety through machine setup, inspection, documentation, and workspace upkeep.

What you'll do

• Operate industrial coiling machinery to produce copper coils
• set up, operate, change over, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery
• perform banding operations
• measure tubing at designated intervals with a micrometer
• use hand tools
• conduct and record equipment safety audits at shift start
• follow applicable SOPs, JSAs, and QAPs
• keep the workspace clean.
