Facilities Director

The Facilities Director role is onsite in Ann Arbor, MI, with compensation of $85,000–$100,000 per year. The Pulpo Group supports restaurants and hospitality experiences in the Ann Arbor community, including Sava’s, Aventura, The Dixboro Project, and Orijin Bakery. This role directs the safety, upkeep, and appearance of the group’s properties so they remain well-maintained and ready for guests and teams. It coordinates building systems, vendors, compliance, preventive maintenance, and property projects while minimizing disruption to service.

What you'll do

• Oversee mechanical, electrical, fire safety, plumbing, waste management, custodial, landscaping, parking, snow removal, and trash removal across properties
• manage vendor, contractor, landlord, and utility relationships
• negotiate contracts and track cost savings
• maintain compliance with MiOSHA, building, and zoning requirements
• plan preventive maintenance and work orders
• lead remodel and maintenance projects with contractor oversight and stakeholder input
• travel between properties and remain reachable for urgent facility needs.
