This role focuses on providing essential speech and language services to patients in their homes.

What you'll do

• Conducts appropriate evaluations, assesses home environment, and identifies equipment needs relative to speech/language function.
• Establishes a plan of care to improve patient's function and administers diagnostic speech and language evaluations.
• Recommends communication devices/aids and prepares a report of each client’s diagnostic evaluation.
• Advises, consults, and teaches appropriate procedures to clients and family members.
• Provides direct speech service under a provider’s plan of care and records client's response to therapy.

What we're looking for

Education

Possess certification of clinical competence in speech from ASHA

Experience

1 year of acute care setting or equivalent experience
