What you'll do

• Own end-to-end procurement for assigned commodities
• negotiate supplier terms and administer agreements
• develop sourcing and dual-source strategies
• perform should-cost and total-cost-of-ownership analysis
• drive cost reduction and value engineering
• address supplier performance and quality issues
• maintain purchasing data
• support make-or-buy decisions and new product introduction
• conduct supplier visits and audits as needed
• mentor junior buyers and planners.
