What you'll do

• Create and maintain purchase orders
• research and evaluate suppliers
• request, compare, and negotiate quotations and terms when appropriate
• process departmental purchase requests
• manage orders in the MRP system
• support inventory control
• review invoices and documentation
• coordinate vendor accounts with Accounting
• communicate order status and resolve purchasing or delivery issues
• maintain records and improve purchasing processes.
