Security Captain

The Security Captain role is onsite in The Plains, VA. Compensation is $32.80 per hour. The role supports Securitas’s security team, which provides security services to help safeguard clients’ people and assets. The Captain supervises security officers and other assigned personnel across one or more client sites. The role helps ensure post orders, rounds, reporting, and emergency notifications are handled properly while supporting staffing, training, and client service.

What you'll do

• Oversee Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other assigned personnel
• ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, reports filed, and authorities and clients notified during emergencies
• coach and discipline personnel
• train officers and review assignments
• assist with payroll and personnel management
• coordinate adequate post coverage
• meet with client representatives
• inspect posts
• and carry out supervisory duties including planning work, appraising performance, resolving complaints, and making hiring or termination recommendations.
