Full-Time Activity Aide

Job overview

The Full-Time Activity Aide role is onsite in State College, PA, working 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, five days per week, including every other weekend. Pay is $15.50–$17.00 per hour. Hearthside Nursing Home seeks to create meaningful and engaging daily experiences for senior residents. The aide helps plan and lead recreational and social activities, encourages resident participation, and supports residents during programs and events. The role contributes to a positive, friendly, resident-centered environment and helps enrich residents’ daily lives.

What you'll do

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading recreational and social activities
• encourage resident participation
• support games, crafts, music, group activities, and special events
• help decorate and prepare for holidays and facility events
• escort and support residents as needed
• maintain activity supplies and organized areas
• document participation when required
• promote a positive, resident-centered environment.
