What you'll do

• Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of Power plant operations.
• Responsible for technical decisions.
• Provides technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Mentors other engineers.
• Provides task management of engineering issues.
• Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned.
• Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work.
• Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses.
• Recommends equipment, new concepts and techniques.
• All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Engineering Technology, etc) OR Associate's degree in a technical discipline OR High school diploma/GED with 9 years of power or related industry experience
