Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist role is onsite in Saint Louis, MO. Pay is $20–$25 per hour. BioTAB Healthcare provides pneumatic compression devices and personalized services for people with lymphatic, wound, and circulatory disorders. The specialist supports accurate reimbursement and cash collection through medical billing, payment posting, and collections. The role resolves claim and account issues while maintaining compliance, accurate records, and quality control within the accounts-receivable workflow.

What you'll do

• Post EFT, credit-card, ACH, check, insurance, and patient payments
• match payment and explanation-of-benefits records
• submit claims and invoices to primary, secondary, and tertiary payers
• review and correct rejected claims
• follow up on unpaid accounts
• research underpayments and denials
• prepare appeals and rebill as appropriate
• maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies
• support year-end schedules and Medicare compliance monitoring.

Why this role
