The Line Cook role is onsite in Sunnyvale, CA, with a full-time Monday–Friday schedule; hours may vary. Pay is $25.25–$26.00 per hour. Bon Appétit Management Company operates cafés for corporations, universities, and museums and emphasizes scratch cooking with fresh, local ingredients. The cook prepares and serves quality food according to recipes, service schedules, and food-safety standards. The role helps maintain consistent meal service through accurate portions and presentation, clean and orderly kitchen areas, and safe equipment and food handling.

What you'll do

• Prepare food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
• portion and serve meals while meeting temperature, presentation, and service standards
• taste prepared food
• follow ticket procedures and maintain service records
• clean the kitchen and store or discard excess food safely
• maintain refrigerators and storerooms
• operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• assist with production planning, records, ordering, and receiving
• report maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents
• attend safety meetings and follow HACCP standards.
