What you'll do

• Greet patients and answer phones
• verify insurance and schedule or confirm appointments
• check patients in and out and collect charges
• pre-authorize insurance for referrals
• monitor incoming specialist reports, refills, and lab reports and flag them to appropriate staff
• manage referrals and obtain medications
• complete annual insurance reports
• maintain HIPAA compliance
• support administrative and routine office tasks.
