What you'll do

• Assess patients and document findings
• review histories, medications, allergies, and treatment plans
• perform telephone and electronic triage
• communicate diagnostic results as directed
• administer ordered medications and treatments
• monitor patient status
• assist with EKGs, Holter and event monitor placement, blood pressure monitoring, stress testing, and diagnostic coordination
• educate patients and families
• coordinate referrals, authorizations, testing, and follow-up
• maintain documentation and compliance
• participate in quality improvement.
