Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time Days - Long Term Care at Good Samaritan in Oslo, MN. This is an onsite position with a salary range of $32.50 - $48.00 per hour and a $25,000 sign-on bonus. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents, collaborating with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
What you'll do
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
- Collaborate with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care.
- Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge.
- Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Responsible for the coordination of care, resident assessment, resident education and various other nursing interventions.
- May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to license and unlicensed assistive personnel.
- Functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure.
What we're looking for
- Education
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Experience
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license.
