Compensation is $0 per year. The Packager role is onsite in Crawfordsville, IN; The position supports Steel Technologies’ preparation of finished materials for shipment to customers. The packager sets up and operates banding equipment and handles materials according to customer specifications. Accurate identification, safe handling, and production standards help ensure finished goods are prepared for delivery.

What you'll do

• Prepare skids to customer specifications
• operate turnstile, down-layer, banding-line equipment, and crane as needed
• package materials according to customer instructions
• identify and segregate materials
• operate a forklift or overhead crane to move materials
• handle materials without damage
• clean assigned areas
• maintain production standards
• load, transport, unload, and stack materials safely.
