Through individual and group counseling, education, progress monitoring, and documentation, the counselor supports participants’ treatment and recovery plans.

What you'll do

• Plan and provide substance-use recovery services
• assist participants in addressing social, cultural, familial, and personal patterns related to substance use
• lead group discussions and education classes and participate in individual sessions
• monitor and document recovery progress, mental stability, and behavioral changes
• collaborate with the treatment team and community agencies.
