Automotive Service Technician

Job overview

The Automotive Service Technician role is onsite in Chevy Chase, MD, with compensation of $22–$60 per hour. The position is with Ourisman Kia of Bethesda and supports vehicle service for dealership customers. The technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains vehicles to help ensure safe, reliable operation. What you'll do

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle issues and perform repairs
• conduct oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks
• test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to verify repairs meet manufacturer standards
• maintain records of work, parts, and recommended services
• coordinate with service advisors and technicians
• occasionally explain repairs and maintenance needs to customers.
