Senior Technical Delivery Manager – Network Operations

The Senior Technical Delivery Manager – Network Operations role is predominantly onsite in North Chicago/Great Lakes, IL, with limited remote work as mission needs allow. Compensation is $150,000–$190,000 per year. The role supports a mission-critical Department of Defense environment and enterprise modernization efforts for national defense readiness. The manager leads network and infrastructure service delivery, coordinates technical teams and customer stakeholders, and oversees service performance, incidents, and outages. The role also helps assess and transition approved AI capabilities into secure, supportable operational use.

What you'll do

• Lead onsite delivery of network operations and infrastructure services
• oversee WAN, LAN, routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, monitoring, cloud connectivity, refresh, configuration, and change activities
• coordinate dependencies across technical and customer teams
• monitor service health, risks, and deliverables
• support practical AI use cases and operational adoption
• lead and mentor technical staff
• coordinate outage response, restoration, continuity, and disaster recovery
• maintain response procedures and recovery playbooks
• communicate status and corrective actions.

Why this role

Requires U.S. citizenship, ability to pass an IT-II background investigation, at least eight years of enterprise IT experience, five years leading technical delivery or operations teams, and a current DoD 8140/8570-aligned cybersecurity certification. Active Secret clearance is preferred.
