Lead HVAC Installer

The Lead HVAC Installer role is onsite in Virginia Beach, VA. The salary range is $60,000–$85,000 per year. The role supports Atlantic Constructors’ commercial HVAC installation team, with the lead technician also assisting the HVAC Service Manager.

What you'll do

• Lead commercial HVAC installation work, including wiring, piping, ductwork, insulation, refrigerant recovery, evacuation, charging, and testing
• sketch duct fittings
• direct a small crew
• help schedule technicians and respond to field calls
• requisition materials
• perform brazing, soldering, pipefitting, and minor fabrication
• interpret plans and specifications
• coordinate craft workers
• and complete required paperwork.

Why this role

The posting requires five years of progressive HVAC operational and installation experience or an equivalent combination of vocational training and experience, plus some technician-scheduling experience. A journeyman card or master’s license and Universal CFC certification are preferred. Travel may be required.
