What you'll do

• Supervise and direct daily clinic operations
• schedule and assign work to registered veterinary technicians
• ensure animal health evaluations and vaccinations
• implement clinic protocols
• train staff
• coordinate surgeries
• perform exams and animal restraint
• prepare medications and anesthesia
• monitor animals under anesthesia and assist veterinarians during surgery
• maintain records, controlled-substance logs, equipment, supplies, and sanitary work areas
• respond to medical emergencies
• supervise veterinary technicians, assistants, and volunteers.
