Community Living Supports Coach — Varied Hours

Job overview

The Community Living Supports Coach position is part-time and onsite in Kalamazoo, MI, with pay of $17–$22.50 per hour, plus a shift differential for evening or weekend shifts. MRC Industries’ Community Living Supports department provides services intended to empower people with disabilities through community engagement. The coach helps youth and adults work toward individual service-plan goals and greater independence. Through instruction, daily support, documentation, and safety oversight, the role contributes to person-centered community inclusion and well-being.

What you'll do

• Instruct and assist clients with service-plan goals and independent living skills
• participate in goal and program development meetings
• document daily activities, progress notes, and incidents
• supervise medication administration and monitor health concerns
• transport clients to appointments and activities as needed
• run groups or provide one-to-one interaction
• support meal preparation, shopping, safety, and community engagement
• protect client rights and confidentiality.
