Family Support Specialist, Spanish

The Family Support Specialist role is primarily based at the Niagara Falls office and works onsite in the office and community in Niagara Falls, NY; compensation is $21–$28 per hour. Jewish Family Services of Western New York provides services intended to support mental well-being, physical wellness, and positive self-worth. As part of the Community Enrichment team, the specialist supports refugees and other vulnerable populations through family education, case management, community outreach, and connections to services. The work promotes protective factors and improved health outcomes for families.

What you'll do

• Facilitate individual and group parent education and women’s empowerment programming
• conduct outreach and recruitment
• provide supervised visitation
• help families navigate childcare subsidies and providers
• support child enrichment activities
• connect clients with additional services
• maintain program records and culturally responsive client relationships.
