The Product Owner, Program and Delegated Authority role is onsite in Boston, MA. The base salary range is $120,000–$140,000 per year, with annual bonus eligibility. The role supports Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance’s Program and Delegated Authority business. The Product Owner/BSA coordinates business and technology stakeholders and external partners to make program onboarding scalable and reliable. The role defines and validates data requirements, supports integration and testing, and improves data quality and operational controls throughout onboarding.

What you'll do

• Serve as Product Owner/BSA for program and delegated authority onboarding
• interpret application and data requirements
• coordinate IT, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Finance, and Data & Analytics
• facilitate workshops and status meetings
• manage dependencies, risks, and issues
• gather policy, premium, claims, and exposure data
• define data standards and validation criteria
• map and validate data
• coordinate integration, acceptance testing, and issue resolution
• maintain process and training documentation
• improve scalability and data quality.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree and seven or more years in a product owner, business systems analyst, or equivalent role, including five or more years in reinsurance. SQL or equivalent query tools and hands-on acceptance testing experience are required qualifications.
