Electrical Project Engineer — Product Development

The Electrical Project Engineer role is 100% onsite in Cottage Grove, WI; compensation is not specified. The position supports Johnson Health Tech’s product development and global electrical engineering work to help deliver innovative, high-quality fitness products. The engineer leads and coordinates multiple projects across product development processes, connecting global teams and translating business and product requirements into technical work. The role covers schedules, costs, specifications, electrical hardware and systems design, software-development coordination, design reviews, prototype testing, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication.

What you'll do

• Coordinate communication between North American and Asia electrical engineering teams
• provide design feedback, technical analysis, and troubleshooting
• manage project tasks, schedules, costs, specifications, and communications
• lead and participate in design reviews
• evaluate designs and support prototype testing
• translate product requirements into technical tasks
• coordinate electrical system and hardware design and software-development collaboration
• communicate with overseas teams, occasionally outside standard office hours
• travel internationally approximately two to five times per year.
