Preschool Teacher

The Preschool Teacher role is onsite in Windsor Mill, MD, with pay of $17–$24 per hour. The Lion of Judah Early Learning Centers provides early childhood education and a nurturing space for young children to learn and grow. The teacher plans and leads age-appropriate learning experiences that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and creative development. The role also supports a safe, inclusive classroom and works with families and fellow educators to monitor progress and strengthen classroom learning.

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
• maintain a safe, inclusive, stimulating, clean, and organized classroom
• engage children in hands-on activities
• assess and document progress and communicate with parents
• collaborate with educators on curriculum and classroom experiences
• support emotional and social growth through positive reinforcement

Why this role

Requires 99-hour certifications or an associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education and previous experience working with preschool-aged children. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
